Can I donate to this site?

Supporters are strongly encouraged to become a patron of Reappropriate through Patreon or to set up a monthly subscription through Paypal.

Become a Patron!

All proceeds go to Reappropriate’s hosting fees, and other fees associated with running the site. As we receive more supporters, I envision Reappropriate becoming entirely ad-free, and expanding to include a subsidized internship program and to provide monthly contributions back to non-profit community service organizations. Patrons who commit to $5/month or more will get exclusive access to Reappropriate’s monthly vlog, as well as other incentives.

If you cannot commit to a monthly contribution, I will also accept one-time donations through Paypal or Venmo.

Advertise

Advertisers seeking to reach out to a dedicated audience of socially-conscious AAPI readers are encouraged to advertise on this site. Advertising profits go strictly to maintaining this site.

What advertising is there available on this site?
This site participates in BlogHer and Disqus ad services. Please contact those ad networks to place an ad on the site.

This site does not publish sponsored posts.

What are the site metrics and readership demographic information?
Currently, the site attracts approximately 80,000 unique views a month. I also have a strong (and growing) social media presence on Twitter and Facebook.

Readers are predominantly Asian American, 18-34, middle- to high-income, well-educated, and living in the United States; about 60% identify as female.

Can I advertise on this site for free?

The “Spotlight” section in the sidebar is available as free advertising for non-profit Asian American or progressive organizations, events or charity groups. If your organization fits this description, please contact me with the content of your ad (and how long you’d like for it to run). You may include an advertising graphic for your organization or event, with a width no larger than 300 pixels.
