Comment on “Goga”: the next fad workout to perpetuate sexist notions of weight loss to women by Devon

I understand the tendency to want to negate pseudoscience and fad exercise. I also understand the need to empower women to treat their health in a non gender differentiated matter. However, lumping Curves, Planet Fitness and GoGa into the same category is really inappropriate. For curves? There are lots of women who like to work out and not be ogled by men who are trying to pick them up Like a side of beef at the meat market. Planet Fitness? Its just a regular gym that emphasizes accepting your body, but not feeling ashamed to want to make changes and become stronger. Perhaps you've never been inside either of those two facilities, but they empower women to be stronger, to make changes, and to get fit. I suppose you would probably also did a great women who go to the YWCA to work out instead of the YMCA. Women can and should be allowed to choose to work out in whatever manner makes them the most comfortable and encourages them to become stronger and more capable. You are just way off base on this article. GoGa does seem too good to be true, and it probably is. But why would you put it in the same category as an actual gym?

@Jenn I really don't get your taste in comics sometimes, but I can respect your take on the Walking Dead as it relates to the t.v. adaption of the original comic book material.

I do understand where you're coming from but these are grown ass people making choices for themselves. It may not be the choice you or I would make but guess what, we want the freedom to do what we choose (providing its lawful) so I suggest we lay off giving others the right to make their own choices. One day, perhaps they'll grow up but for now, this is who they are.. give them their space to grow and mature... even if that means subjecting themselves to being objectified. We can't all be the same and we really should respect that.

Surprisingly, your last comment is the only comment that can make it through the comment policy unscathed. Congratulations.

Also, yes I remember you, Adonis. I have to personally moderate all of the trolls I get on my blog. Your efforts are nothing special; they are only remarkable in your determination to make it through my spam filters. You've posted so frequently and using so many permutations of your username and IP address that I must clearly be making some sort of an impact on you for you to be so determined to troll my site. I mean seriously, mad props to you for your tenacity.

I certainly don't have the time or energy to spend trying to annoy a total Internet stranger on their personal website for something they wrote last year, nor would I be particularly entertained by it after so long. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

"when i cant even remember i commented" -- Adonis

Right. Which is why you're still referencing the stuff that you wrote in your original comments to that post. Got it.
