Happy Veteran’s Day and Happy Remembrance Day to Asian-American and -Canadian Veterans; and to All Veterans of These Two Great Nations

442nd_congressionalgoldmedal — Japanese American veterans who served in the 442nd regiment during WWII — the most highly decorated unit in American military history — receive the Congressional Gold Medal last year.

Happy Veteran’s Day to all the veterans out there, and Happy Remembrance Day to all Canadian vets (read more about Japanese Canadian soldiers serving during WWI).
